Robert Lee "Bob" Booth Obituary
Robert Lee "Bob" Booth, 77, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 2, 2017. Bob passed away peacefully at his home.

Bob was a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, but had resided most of his life in Milton, Florida. He was the son of the late Reverend James A. and Helen Booth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U. S. Coast Guard. His last duty station was buoy tender in Mobile, Alabama; and when his father passed away Bob "came home" to take care of his mother. After working many years, he retired as an orderly at Santa Rosa Hospital.

Bob's passion was caring for the elderly by providing in-home-care. He assisted many families in his community. He was a friendly, outgoing person who never met a stranger.

Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Milton; and a member of the Fisher-Brown-Fischer Sunday School class.

Bob is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Fane Booth; and a host of "his extended family of friends".

A Memorial Service was held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017, in Bamberg Chapel at First Baptist Church of Milton, with Dr. David Spencer officiating. The family received friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial donations be made in Bob's name to the Men's Ministry of First Baptist Church, Milton.
