Myrtle Lynn Wixon Obituary
Myrtle Lynn Wixon was born and raised in Brewton Alabama but made Milton her home for almost 50 years, she passed away January 2, 2018, after a very long battle with cancer.

She was known as Myrtle to family and as Lynn by local friends. She is survived by a sister, Cora Durden of Georgia and 2 stepsons, David and John Wixon, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Myrtle worked Civil Service in Jacksonville and Whiting Field until retirement in the 70's. She joined both the Santa Rosa Co. Master Gardeners and the Milton Garden Club. Lynn was a 20-year member of the Morning Glory Circle, part of the Milton Garden Club. She was an unbelievable cook and gardener. Through her talents and hard work in the Morning Glory Circle, she was a prime person in putting on Milton's 1st Tour of Tables Fund Raiser last year which included a Wine tasting night to earn $170.00 dedicated to forming and the continuation of a Children's Garden Club. These funds have been turned over to the newly rearranged Milton Garden Club to follow through with her desires.

There has never been a more honest, compassionate, trusting and hardworking quite lady on this earth. Myrtle Lynn Wixon will be missed, remembered and loved by everyone that knew her.
