Donald Lee Jeffries of Pace passed away, Wednesday, September 26th at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. He is preceded in death by his parents Olen and Harry Jeffries, his wife Zonia Jeffries, his sister Marcia Powell, his brother Clarence Dumas, and his son-in-law Buddy Gay. He is survived by his son Don (wife Dana) of Navarre, his daughter Susan of Pace, and grand children: Lee, Carlie, and Nicholas (wife Cindy), many nieces and nephews and many good friends.

Don was a well decorated Vietnam Veteran, and a beloved husband and father. His jokes were legendary, his smiles were infectious, and his laugh was contagious. His compassion and benevolence to those in need were done without need of recognition or praise. He will be missed by everyone blessed to know him.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 West, Milton, Florida on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Donations in his memory can be made to the and the Wounded Warrior Project.
